Pears & Pearls: A Styled Wedding Shoot at Burncoose House

Lush spring hues at an historic country house venue in Cornwall

Styled shoot planned by Sophie Walker Weddings.

Dating back to the 13th century, Burncoose House and Gardens boast a long history. Originally constructed as a medieval manor house, the property has undergone numerous transformations over the centuries. Since the mid-17th century, the Williams family has owned and preserved the estate.

The charming gardens and ancient structures offer an ideal setting for a romantic and memorable wedding. A gorgeous conservatory sits alongside the house with enough room for a dinner table under the white painted dome.

The property presents a host of beautiful settings for wedding ceremonies, whether indoors or outdoors, giving you and your photographer plenty of opportunities to explore. The gardens transform with each season and offer stunning bursts of colour all year round.

The elegant, central staircase in the house provides the perfect backdrop for a confetti drop photo, which Jade from Ivy House Photography captured beautifully in this shot.

Throughout the day of this shoot, Erin wore my bud stud earrings in peridot with freshwater pearl enhancers, a 9ct Red Gold Tidal Wedding and Engagement Ring set, as well as a pink sapphire ring. Dermot, on the other hand, is wearing one of my 9ct yellow gold Ridge Wedding bands.
